Hardscrabble Timber is not just the name of my business, it's also a brand. Hardscrabble means "hard work and struggle" which I believe goes hand in hand with the worldwide timber industry. This brand represents the hardscrabble life of loggers, arborists, foresters, truckers, sawmills and log yards alike. The men and woman of the timber industry are some of the toughest, driven, skilled, hard-working, intelligent and resilient people that you will ever meet. We are a community, and we love trees.
